Poland - Alice Ackerman, 99, died January 5, 2014 at her residence.
Mrs. Ackerman was born December 18, 1914 in Youngstown.
She was a homemaker and is survived by her a son, Joe(Cindy) Ackerman of Poland; three grandchildren, Joseph, Scott, and Miranda; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Howard Austin.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stewart Ackerman; a son, Bobby Ackerman; and siblings, Thelma, Marian, Helen, Laurabell, and Jim.
Services will be held at Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland, Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in the Poland Riverside Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received Wednesday from 10:00- 10:45 AM at the funeral home.
