Alfred Finamore

Struthers - Alfred A. Finamore, 89 of Struthers, died Thursday morning July 25, 2019 at the Hospice House in Poland. He was born December 24, 1929 in Lowellville, a son of Vito and Rose (Morocco) Finamore and had been a lifelong area resident.

Al was a graduate of Lowellville High and had served in the Army.  Following his military service, he began a career with the Ohio Department of Liquor control and retired as manager of the Struthers store.

He leaves a brother, John (Irene) Finamore of Fayetteville, PA; his niece, Karen (Michael) Drought of Fernandina Beach, Florida and three nephews, Carl (Beverly) Finamore of Parker, Colorado, Michael (Charlene) Finamore of Hertford, North Carolina, and John Finamore of Aurora, Colorado.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Patrick Finamore.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Tuesday July 30, 2019 at Christ Our Savior Parish/ St. Nicholas in Struthers with Father Martin Celuch officiating. Interment will take place at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Lowellville.

There are no calling hours. Arrangements are provided by the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Al’s name can be made to the charity of your choice.
