New Bedford - Albert Ernest Harris, 49, died Tuesday evening, September 17, 2013 peacefully surrounded by his loved ones.
Albert was born August 5, 1964 in Warren, a son of James and Patricia Collins Harris.
A 1982 graduate of Laurel High School, Albert was a contractor by trade. He loved to spend time with family and friends, playing cards, horse shoes and canoeing. Albert loved riding his motorcycle with his wife, Wendy, and best friend.
Besides his mother Patricia and step-father Jim of Warren, Albert leaves his wife of 30 years, Wendy Harshbarger of New Bedford, PA; one son, David (Mary) Harris of Newbedford, PA; one step-son, Donald (Alexis) Harshbarger of Youngstown; one brother, Tommy (Victoria ) Harris of Warren; six step-sisters and brothers; and four grandchildren.
Albert was preceded in death by his father, James Harris.
Albert's family will have private memorial service to be held in his honor. Services are being handled at Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers, Ohio.
