AKRON- Helmi Siiner

AKRON Helmi Siiner, 94, formerly of Struthers, died early Sunday morning at Akron St. Thomas Hospital. She was born in Estonia February 28, 1909, a daughter of Kustous Renter and Helene Asper. She came to the area in 1952. Mrs. Siiner was received a Masters Degree in home Economics. She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church. Her husband Anton Siiner, whom she married, May 18, 1940, died May 3, 1984. She leaves one daughter, Kulli Scheetz of Indianapolis, IN; four grandchildren, Inga (Jason) Grills, Britt Sieber, Vincent Scheetz, and Eric Siiner; and great-grandchildren, Lily Grills, Carly and Cameron Sieber. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Dr. Rein Siiner Funeral services will be Wednesday 1 PM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers. Friends may call from 12:00-12:45 PM at the funeral home.
