Agnes Rebecca Hixson

Agnes Rebecca Hixson, 98 Boardman- Agnes Rebecca Hixson, 98, of Ron Joy Nursing Home, formerly of 7th Street, Struthers, joined her family in Godâa�a��s loving arms Sunday, at the nursing home. Mrs. Hixson was born August 8, 1906 in Westmoreland, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Fred and Eva Tedrow Jennings. She lived in Struthers for 60 years before moving to Ron Joy Nursing Home in 1987. She was a charter member of the former Fairview Immanuel Baptist Church and itsâa�a�� Womenâa�a��s Fellowship. Her husband Daniel W. Hixson, whom she married March 2, 1922 died February 14, 1977. She leaves a son-in-law, Pierce âa�A"Doyleâa�A� Kisselburg of Poland; two brothers, Robert Jennings of Sharpsville and Fred Jennings of Greenville, Pennsylvania; two granddaughters Pam Burns of Poland, Nancy Moschella of Texas; five great-grandchildren, Carissa Knisley, Caryn Burns, Todd, Jason, and Maribeth Moschella, and two great- great granddaughters, Haley Burns and Kristen Moschella. Preceeding her in death are her parents and husband, and a daughter, Kathryn Kisselburg, three sisters, Elizabeth Boyd, Kathryn Davenport, and Martha McCartney; and a brother, Blaine Jennings all of Pennsylvania. Funeral services will be Tuesday, 11:00 A.M. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers. Friends may call Tuesday, from 10:30 until 11 A.M. at the funeral home.
