William Robert Nock

William Robert Nock, 92, died February 1, 2018 at Canfield Place.

Bill was born July 31, 1925 in Lowellville, a son of Burt and Rose Berry Nock.

He was a 1943 graduate of Lowellville High School. Bill retired as a mailman at Lowellville Post Office after 30 years.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during WW II. Bill was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church and the Lowellville American Legion.

Bill enjoyed working on his classic car and gardening.

He is survived by his wife the former Hazel Conti, whom he married in 1947; ten children, Rosanne (Lou) Pastore of Boardman, Robert (Jean) Nock of Lowellville, Jean (Bob) Patton of Florida, Frank (Julie) Nock of Campbell, Barbara Wolfe of Struthers, John (Sara) Nock of Seattle, Nancy (Bob) Cunning of Houston, Becky Bittner of Ravenna, Suzanne Nock of San Jose, CA, and William Nock of Reno, NV; 28 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, Bill was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Nock.

A prayer service will be held Monday at 10:30AM at Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 244 McGill St. Lowellville followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church at 11:00 AM with Fr. Larry Frient officiating.

Friends and family will be received Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
